    Students will learn Fiji Meke, choreography, meaning of the dance and cultural knowledge and some language.

  • Fiji - Girls - Level 2

    Students will learn Fiji Meke, choreography, meaning of the dance and cultural knowledge and some language.

  • Fiji - Girls - Level 3

    Students will learn Fiji Meke, choreography, meaning of the dance and cultural knowledge and some language.

  • Fiji - Boys - Level 1

    Students will learn a Fijian meke, the meaning of the dance and song, cultural knowledge and basic Fijian words. Take the classes at your own pace.

  • Fiji - Boys - Level 2

    This level is an extension of level one meke class, students will learn meke choreography, meaning of the dance, cultural knowledge which includes traditional food, geography, traditional flowers, traditional items, iconic Fijians, as well as basic words/language.

  • Fiji - Boys - Level 3

    This level is an extension of level one meke class, students will learn meke choreography, meaning of the dance, cultural knowledge which includes social hierarchy, cultural protocols, costume making, sustainable practises, legends and more.

  • Hawaiian Hula - Level 1

    Students will learn basic Hula steps, warm up movements, and two hula Auana dances

  • Hawaiian Hula - Level 2

    This level is an extension of level one course, students will learn 2 Auana style Hula choreography, meaning of the dances, cultural knowledge which includes geography, traditional costumes, food, traditional items and iconic and language.

  • Hawaiian Hula - Level 3

    This course is for students with Hula experience or who have completed level two and wanting to brush up on Hula skills, or to learn choreography and cultural knowledge. Level three students will learn a Hula Kahiko style and chant.

  • Maori Kapa Haka - Level 1

    Students will learn a waiata a ringa as well as cultural knowledge pertaining to geography, traditional items, iconic Maori and more!

  • Maori Kapa Haka - Level 2

    This course is for students who completed the level one course successfully. Upon completion of this course students will learn a waiata a ringa as well as cultural knowledge pertaining to geography, traditional items, iconic Maori and more!

  • Maori Kapa Haka - Level 3

    This course is for students who completed the level two course successfully. Upon completion of this course students will learn a poi dance as well as cultural knowledge which includes Social Hierarchy, Cultural protocols, costume making, sustainable practises and more.

  • Oceanic Dance - Level 1

    This course is for students who would like to learn a variety of Oceanic Cultural Dances at an introductory level. Students will learn basic movements and short routines from Tahiti, Samoa, Tonga, Cook Islands. Every two weeks a new dance style and routine will be introduced and taught.

    This course is for students who would like to learn a variety of Oceanic Cultural Dances at an introductory level. Students will learn basic movements and short routines from Tahiti, Samoa, Tonga, Cook Islands. Every two weeks a new dance style and routine will be introduced and taught.

  • Siva Samoa - Juniors - Beginners - Level 1

    Students will learn siva technique, taualuga style siva, a sāsā as well as language and cultural knowledge and legends.

  • Siva Samoa - Juniors - Beginners - Level 2

    This course is for students who completed the level one course successfully. Upon completion of this course students will learn a Maulu’ulu style siva titled ‘Le Ekalesia’, a coconut dance ‘Siva ipu popo’ as well as cultural knowledge pertaining to geography, traditional items, iconic Samoans, legends and more!

  • Siva Samoa - Juniors - Beginners - Level 3

    This course is for students who completed the level Two course successfully. Upon completion of this course students will learn a maulu’ulu style siva entitled ‘Samoa La’u Pele’, and will be expanding on the coconut dance ‘Siva ipu popo’, as well as cultural knowledge pertaining to geography, traditional items, iconic Samoans, legends and more!

  • Siva Samoa - Open Age - Beginners - Level 1

    Students will learn siva technique, taualuga style siva, a sāsā as well as language and cultural knowledge and legends.

  • Siva Samoa - Open Age - Beginners - Level 2

    This course is for students who completed the level one course successfully. Upon completion of this course students will learn a Maulu’ulu style siva titled ‘Samoa la’u pele’, a coconut dance ‘Siva ipu popo’ as well as cultural knowledge pertaining to geography, traditional items, iconic Samoans, legends and more!

  • Siva Samoa - Open Age - Beginners - Level 3

    This course is for students who completed the level two course successfully. Upon completion of this course students will learn how to use nifo oti in a siva taualuga as well as expanding on the Siva ipu popo from level two, cultural knowledge will include Social Hierarchy, Cultural protocols, costume making, sustainable practises and ancient stories from Samoa. Students under 13 years of age can also join however it will be a higher level of difficulty.

  • Siva Samoa - Intermediate - Level 1

    Siva Samoa intermediate is a continuation of dances learnt in previous terms online. This is a difficult level as Maryjane revisits and goes over harder dances at the beginning of the course. On completion of this course Students will learn 2 beautiful siva taualuga and connect words with actions.

  • Siva Samoa - Intermediate - Level 2

    This course is for students who completed the level one course successfully. Upon completion of this course students will learn a Maulu’ulu style siva titled ‘Tamasese’ as well as the meaning and history behind the song. Students will also learn a coconut dance ‘Siva ipu popo’ as well as cultural knowledge pertaining to geography, traditional items, iconic Samoans, legends and more! There is much emphasis on conveying emotion during siva in this course.

  • Siva Samoa - Intermediate - Level 3

    This course is continuing on with routine taught from previous levels and excelling to harder combination of moves.

  • Fa'ataupati - Beginners - Level 1

    This course is an introduction to siva Samoa for boys and men. Students will learn a fa’ataupati routine, short sāsā and how to aiuli.

  • Fa'ataupati - Beginners - Level 2

    Students will learn a action song, fa’ataupati routine and aiuli technique as well cultural knowledge pertaining to geography, traditional items, iconic Samoans  and more!

  • Fa'ataupati - Intermediate - Level 1

    This course is for students with experience in siva Samoa for boys and men, taught by Frederick Schwenke students will learn a fa’ataupati routine, short sāsā and how to aiuli.

  • Fa'ataupati - Intermediate - Level 2

    Students will learn a action song, fa’ataupati routine and aiuli technique as well cultural knowledge pertaining to geography, traditional items, iconic Samoans  and more! Level of difficulty is high.

  • Fa'ataupati - Beginners & Intermediate - Level 3

    This course is for all age students who completed the level two course successfully. Upon completion of this course students will learn fa’ataupati dances and action songs, cultural knowledge will include Social Hierarchy, Cultural protocols, costume making, sustainable practises and ancient stories from Samoa.

  • Tonga Tau’olunga - Beginners - Level 1

    Students learn a tau’olunga that can be performed at an event, as well as cultural knowledge which includes geography, traditional costumes, traditional food, traditional items and iconic Tongans and more. Students also learn basic Tongan words.

  • Tonga Tau’olunga - Beginners - Level 2

    Juniors - 4 - 12 yrs | For students who completed Level One beginners. Students will learn a Tau’olunga and cultural knowledge which includes Social Hierarchy, Cultural protocols, costume making, sustainable practises and more.

  • Tonga Language Course - Level 1

    Taught by Fine Taulanga Rosen- Tongan Language Course will be live zoom sessions.

  • Tonga Tau’olunga - Intermediate - Level 1

    This course is for students with Tau’olunga experience or who have completed beginners course level one. Students will learn a Tau’olunga, perfecting techniques and cultural knowledge which includes geography, Traditional costumes, traditional food, traditional items and iconic Tongans and more.

  • Tonga Tau’olunga - Intermediate - Level 2

    For students who completed Beginners or Intermediate level one course. Students will learn a Tau’olunga and cultural knowledge which includes Social Hierarchy, Cultural protocols, costume making, sustainable practises and more
